Sales Design Engineer (f/m)


  • Creating solutions/layouts/concepts for the sales team and support with price calculations
  • Understand customers needs based on data and be able to design optimal solutions with an attractive TCO and ROI
  • Further develop the support for the sales team
  • Ensure that KNAPP products are used in the best possible way
  • Support the sales team with technical descriptions (functional description, list of equipment etc.)
  • Direct contact with end customers if required to get details. To be agreed with responsible sales person
  • Attend to meetings at end customers
  • Create solutions based on an RFQ/ITT or other related information from end customer and sales person
  • Keep contact to engineering in Graz (KNAPP Headquarter) for updates on products, tools, solutions, etc.
  • Keep timelines

  • Multiple tasks
  • Like finding solutions in order to make complexity simple
  • Data analysis and CAO knowledges
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Package
  • Basic understanding in WMS, WCS
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of logistic systems and the logistic workflow
  • Good French and English language skills
  • German would be an additional “plus”
