Senior Software Developer (m/f/d)

As a Senior Software Developer within the Project Software Developement Department, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our intralogistics software. You’ll work on customer-specific solutions, contribute to the modernization of our legacy systems, and take ownership of technical challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance our software platform based on Oracle, PL/SQL, and Java for current projects
- Contribute to the transition towards Java EE, Wildfly, JMS, and container-based architecture for future projects
- Collaborate with distributed teams in Austria, Czech Republic, and Poland
- Take initiative: identify problems, propose solutions, and drive implementation
- Engage in the full development lifecycle: documentation, requirements engineering, testing, and quality assurance
- Occasionally travel to customer sites – primarily work from Leoben or Hart bei Graz

- Several years of experience (> 7 years) in software development
- Strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset
- High-quality standards, even under pressure
- Experience in intralogistics is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English (German is a plus for local collaboration)
- Willingness to grow into a Software Architect role over time

An overpayment of the monthly minimum salary of EUR 5.800,- gross (38,5 hours/week) according to the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry is of course possible depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
