What are your
main responsibilities?

As a Development Project Manager, I am responsible for special development projects. Together with our supplier partners, for example, we develop customized products for conveyor control systems that don’t exist on the market – special solutions tailor-made to meet special requirements. For more than 35 years, this job has been very fulfilling for me. I’ve recently retired, and now I’m eager to pass on my knowledge, to give the next generation a leg up.

What kind of education, experience or interests should you have for your job?

In-depth technical know-how is essential for my job – ideally, you’ll have had an education in mechatronics, electronics or control software. To understand the inner workings of complex systems and learn how to work out innovative solutions, a technical degree is your best choice.

My Job:

Exciting. Innovative. Future-oriented.

What do you like most about your job?

My job is challenging and varied – mostly technical, but communication also plays a big part. Our global teams consist of colleagues at KNAPP and external industry partners. We work together to find the best solutions for exciting projects. It’s the variety that makes my work so interesting.

Why do you enjoy working for KNAPP?

I get to work in a cutting-edge technical environment. Our work is geared toward the future, and our innovations enjoy considerable success. I’ve had the privilege to work with so many inspiring colleagues, and I’m still happy to learn from them. Our tasks vary a lot, so there’s never a dull moment.
