What are your main
responsibilities?
As a Software Engineer, I plan the optimal implementation of our logistics software for our customers worldwide. It’s my job is to find suitable solutions for their logistics challenges. My day-to-day work involves a lot of internal and external coordination. This includes meetings with all the departments involved in the projects, creating project-specific specifications and also holding customer workshops. Customer contact and coordinating tasks between the various departments are important aspects of my job.
What kind of education, experience or interests should you have for your job?
I have a master’s in business economics, specializing in manufacturing and logistics. Understanding logistics is essential for this kind of work. We work very independently on high-investment projects, which is why we have to work reliably, accurately and responsibly, and we have to keep our heads and persevere when it gets stressful. When it comes to finding innovative solutions and responding to new challenges quickly, creativity and flexibility are a must.

Quite often, this job is a little like solving a puzzle. Our goal is to find the best solutions to fulfill our customers’ requests. That’s why the workshops with our customers are one of the things I find exciting and interesting about my job.
