Since the robot solution is equipped with AI, it can handle a wide range of items up to 3.5 kg: from cardboard boxes, cans, bottles and polybags to cubical items and items with reflective surfaces.

What happens if I add new types of items?

The AI in the PiE Robot has been trained with data from real projects in the pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, wholesale, manufacturing, fashion and e-grocery industries for many years and is therefore able to draw from that knowledge, making teaching it new items a cinch.

Can I integrate the Pick-it-Easy Robot into existing warehouse solutions?

Yes. You can combine the robot solution with shuttle systems such as the Evo Shuttle (Shuttle Storage System for Efficient Order Fulfillment) and with pocket sorter systems such as AutoPocket seamlessly and connect it to standard warehouse management solutions such as KiSoft.

How reliable is picking with the Pick-it-Easy Robot?

Thanks to AI-supported image processing, sensors and automatic exception handling, orders are picked without error and downtimes are reduced to a minimum. If required, orders that need extra checking are automatically sent to a manual station to meet quality standards.
