Sarah is a spare parts expert

What are your
main responsibilities?

For new customers, I create spare parts packages that are tailored to the products they have installed in the warehouse, their operating hours and system availability. For existing customers, I provide consultations so that they have the right mix of spare parts in the warehouse at all times. These tasks include various work steps such as preparing offers, which includes researching data, along with creating orders and monitoring order processing as well as shipping. Furthermore, I manage requests for repair, which puts me in contact with many stakeholders at the company.

What kind of education, experience or interests should you have for your job?

In addition to a technical or commercial education, it’s great if you enjoy working with customers and have an affinity for all things technical. I’m really passionate about our KNAPP products, which is absolutely necessary for my job. Common sense, reliability and the readiness to cater to our customers’ needs are also highly valuable personality traits for this job.

What do you like about your job in particular?

I’ve been with KNAPP for several years now and through my job I’ve been able to establish a large network within the company. I have come to know many colleagues really well; we’re almost like family. I appreciate that very much and I don’t take it for granted because I know this is not the case everywhere.

Why do you enjoy working at KNAPP?

As I said, I love working in a team, but I also appreciate the benefits the company offers their employees. I really enjoy working for KNAPP.
