PLC Commissioning Engineer - Siemens TIA / Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
As a PLC Commissioning Engineer, you bring KNAPP’s automated warehouse systems to life. You program, configure, and test Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal) and ensure seamless commissioning for our international customers.

- Commissioning of automation and conveyor systems
- PLC programming & troubleshooting (Siemens TIA/Step7)
- On‑site testing, optimization and handover
- Collaboration with electrical, mechanical and software teams
- Training customer technicians
- International travel (around 60–75 %)

- Degree in Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or Electrical Engineering (HTL or similar)
- Basic or advanced experience with PLC programming (preferred Siemens)
- Passion for automation, robotics and technology
- Good English skills
- Proactive mindset and willingness to travel
- You are physically and mentally fit, able to stand and walk for extended periods, capable of lifting 25 kg at shoulder height, and comfortable with heights and climbing ladders

We offer you a secure and long-term job in a leading company in Styria and the opportunity to continuously develop yourself in a motivated team.This position is remunerated with at least € 3,040 gross (KV for employees in the metal industry, VWGr III/i1u2J.). A significant overpayment is of course possible depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
