FAQs about KiSoft Analytics

Where does KiSoft Analytics store all the data?

The data is sent to the KNAPP cloud where it is stored in a big data database. Data from different warehouses or customers are stored separately to ensure that the data is not mixed.

How secure is my KiSoft Analytics data?

The data packages are encrypted on the local server in the warehouse and sent to the KNAPP cloud via a secure connection. In doing so, a direct connection is established between the customer’s site and the KNAPP cloud to prevent access to the data during the data transfer. Access to the data is protected through several security levels as well as user and role concepts.

How fresh is the data provided by KiSoft Analytics?

Data from operational systems is available for evaluation purposes on the KNAPP cloud within minutes. Compared to other systems, you have the advantage of being able to make prompt statements on the operation and function of your systems and use this data as a basis for decision-making.

Are KPIs already available in KiSoft Analytics or do you have to create them initially?

KiSoft Analytics comes with a multitude of predefined index numbers, metrics and dimensions. Based on these default settings provided by KNAPP, most issues can be covered. Should further index numbers be required, they can easily be configured using the available raw data.
