What are your
main responsibilities?

The cool thing about my job as a Field Service Engineer is that each day is different and brings new challenges. I’m responsible for maintaining and repairing all sorts of KNAPP systems at our customers: conventional conveyor systems and various types of storage systems including the latest Evo Shuttle solutions. I’m part of the KNAPP UK Field Service team.

What kind of education, experience or interests should you have for your job?

My passion for tinkering with cars early on has helped me gain a solid understanding of mechanics, which was the perfect foundation for my career path in technology. I first completed an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering – the Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering. After that, I completed my Higher National Diploma in the same field. Through the KNAPPacademy, I received specific training in Graz, which was ideal for my job as a Field Service Engineer.
