Starting April 1, 2016, the Management Team at KNAPP Systemintegration in Leoben will be expanded: Rudolf Hansl will join Bernhard Rottenbücher and Franz Leitner as Managing Director, where his responsibilities will mainly be in sales. Within the KNAPP group, he will also head up the business unit Food Retail. Here, he sees great potential in the current trends: “In food retail, e-commerce is becoming increasingly more important, and we should exploit the opportunities that these changes provide. The logistics in food retail is changing; hence, delivery to the end customer as well as the supply system that supports this service will require innovative solutions.”
Many years of experience
With Rudolf Hansl on board, KNAPP Systemintegration will benefit from his many years of experience in the sector and considerable leadership skills. Born in 1970 in Linz, Hansl studied industrial and mechanical engineering at the Graz University of Technology. His career began in 1995 at the TGW Logistics Group, where he was active in different areas in management starting in 1998. He held the position of Managing Director for eleven years. In 2013, Hansl moved to Teufelberger GmbH in Wels where, until recently, he also served as Managing Director. His career path now leads to Leoben. Rudolf Hansl is looking forward to his new challenge: “I want to contribute to the further development of KNAPP Systemintegration and the entire KNAPP group, one of the leading suppliers of automated warehouse systems.”
