KNAPP sees itself as a partner to industry. This includes a global subsidiary network with over 35 locations. With the aim of providing faster, more personal and comprehensive service to its customers in Switzerland, Hermann Wirth was brought on board as Managing Director for the Swiss subsidiary.
After years of successful business in Switzerland, KNAPP AG, with headquarters in Hart bei Graz, Austria, is strengthening its Swiss subsidiary. In April 2017, Hermann Wirth assumed the managing directorship of KNAPP Logistiksysteme GmbH, headquartered in Schönbühl bei Bern. Herman Wirth has more than 20 years’ experience in intralogistics automation and worked in several companies during this period. In this function, he will actively strengthen the assistance and support of new customers in the core sectors healthcare, food, industry, retail and fashion, and place new emphasis in the customer service area.
Famous companies such as grocery giants Migros and LeShop, or international pharmaceutical companies such as Amedis and Voight, are among KNAPP’s customers in Switzerland. “KNAPP specializes in warehouse automation and warehouse automation software and has comprehensive knowledge of the industry. Thanks to rapid growth in the e-commerce sector, and the associated demands made on the supply chain, we expect strong growth in Switzerland. With our new location, we want to even better support our new and existing customers,” explained Hermann Wirth.
