TÜV Rheinland relies on the KNAPP group’s service package ivii.assist for inspecting wind turbines
ivii.assist connects maintenance staff and certified experts – anywhere, any time. With ivii.assist, TÜV Rheinland personnel at the wind turbines receive optimized real-time support while carrying out their tasks, via web conferences, augmented-reality services or instruction videos, for example. What’s more, ivii.assist documents the inspection process – all pictures that are taken during the inspection are saved in the TÜV document management system. TÜV Rheinland benefits from this documentation in two different ways; on the one hand, all processes are seamless and traceable, and on the other hand, expert knowledge flows continuously into the company. With the help of ivii.assist, communication is straightforward and less prone to misunderstandings, guaranteeing faster inspection of the wind turbines and achieving higher quality.
