Tailor-made automation solution
The warehouse in Nazareth (Belgium) will host not only manual production, but also a highly efficient automation solution with technologies from KNAPP and YLOG Industry Solutions. The solution, which fulfils all requirements of Fagron in terms of storage density, throughput and speed, is expected to go live in the second quarter of 2016.
Efficient mix of technologies
The new solution consists of an automatic YLOG-Shuttle system and a person-to-goods area. The YLOG-Shuttle system is perfectly scalable, will grow parallel to Fagron and will guarantee 100 percent availability. The shuttle solution, consisting of 10 YLOG-Shuttles, was perfectly tailored to the space available in the new warehouse.
