KNAPP and Pharmatechnik Provide Start-to-Finish Blister Packaging Software

News: Published on in Healthcare, Technology

KNAPP aims to develop easy solutions for complex tasks. This is what their new D³ Daily Dose Dispenser does for blister packaging. Pills are transferred directly from the original blister pack to the patient blister card, eliminating the need for manual de-blistering. The KiSoft software controls everything automatically from storage of incoming goods in the KNAPP-Store to the provision of sorted, printed and sealed patient blister cards.

Collaboration with experts in pharmacy software

Pharmatechnik is the market leader in pharmacy software. IXOS, the company’s pharmacy management system, and the module PrecisePro, provide everything pharmacies need for working with blister packaging. This includes master data management, images of the pills, order processing, up to production protocols and QP releases.

KNAPP and Pharmatechnik have agreed to work together to create an all-encompassing solution from the entering of the prescription into the system to the completed patient blister card ready for shipping.
