EGLO lights opts for SAP® EWM by KNAPP

EGLO, the leading manufacturer of decorative home lighting, headquartered in the Tyrol, Austria, has commissioned KNAPP with the implementation of SAP® EWM at its automated warehouse locations in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Hungary.

The company headquarters in Pill, Austria, is the central hub of the global EGLO group. Besides EGLO Leuchten GmbH, a further 50 sales companies both in and outside of Europe, also belong to the group. EGLO sell its products in 132 countries and relies on SAP® EWM by KNAPP for its core processes, including goods-in, storage, replenishment, picking and dispatch.

SAP® EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) by KNAPP is a transparent solution that enables EGLO to carry out adaptations and programming themselves.  “SAP® EWM by KNAPP is the right solution for all those wanting to implement an SAP IT strategy and looking for an outstanding logistics solution,” emphasized Managing Director of KNAPP IT Solutions GmbH Gerald Lassau, who added, “with SAP® EWM by KNAPP, we offer our customers the best logistics solutions fully integrated on an SAP IT platform.
