Health and Safety Manager - KNAPP Israel
- Lead and establish the Health & Safety function in KNAPP Israel, including shaping processes and safety culture
- Take full ownership of H&S across all company activities – operational sites and ongoing projects, including planning phases
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and align with KNAPP global standards
- Advise senior management on safety legislation and lead action plans to ensure company-wide compliance
- Support risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits;
- Investigate incidents and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Build and deliver safety training programs, based on organizational needs
- Monitor and support data accuracy and reporting via internal systems
- Prepare and present reports to global H&S teams, leadership, and relevant committees
- Coordinate and communicate updates on safety regulations, standards, and internal guidelines
- Certified Safety Officer (approved by the Israeli Ministry of Labor)
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (ideal as a second / third position)
- Experience in industrial, operational, or project-based environments
- High level of English (spoken and written)
- proactive mindset with the ability to initiate, build, and drive processes independently
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creative thinking, flexibility, and an open-minded approach
