KNAPP exhibits innovations in robotics at LogiMAT

Press information: Published on in Company, Technology

Digitalization, a lack of resources and the consumer’s desire for omni-channel shopping pose great challenges on logistics. At the same time, research is making great strides in robotics and AI. Find out what this means for logistics and how robotics are helping to master the challenges at KNAPP’s stand at the LogiMAT, March 10-12.

KNAPP began many years ago to develop robot solutions for picking and to launch them on the market. The industrial-grade solution Pick-it-Easy Robot is a powerful and intelligent robot station for fully-automatic single-item picking. KNAPP is now launching the latest generation, presenting it for the first time at the LogiMAT.

New pocket sorter system

There are also innovations in intelligent pocket sorting, which are specially designed to meet the high demands of online retail. At the fair, KNAPP, with their subsidiary Dürkopp Fördertechnik, will be presenting a completely new type of pocket sorter system that delivers consistently high performance while space-effectively and flexibly storing, picking and sorting e-commerce articles, finally bringing them into a precise sequence for dispatch.
