As listed by the magazine FACTORY in a comparison of turnover and number of employees of the top 50 plant manufacturers in Austria, KNAPP advanced to second place with an increase in turnover of 8.6 percent. The investments in Dobl and Leoben as well as the plans for expansion at the Hart bei Graz headquarters played a pivotal role in gaining the impressive ranking. The KNAPP Campus in Dobl bei Graz opened just a few weeks ago. The multi-storey building complex represents an investment of about five million euros for KNAPP. The two subsidiaries, KNAPP Industry Solutions and ivii GmbH have already been based in Dobl for a while and together with KNAPP’s startup redPilot, will be developing technologies for industry and logistics on the campus. However, investments haven’t just been limited to Dobl. KNAPP Systemintegration GmbH in Leoben recently underwent expansion as well, and a new six-storey office building will be built at the KNAPP headquarters in Hart bei Graz by mid-2019. In the business year 2016/17, KNAPP raised the net revenue by 8.6 percent to 631.88 million euros and profit went up from 30 to 34.82 million euros. These financial results combined with a record order intake of over 700 million euros exceeded the company’s targets in terms of both revenue and outcome.
